They are attached to the bottom of the display and are powered directly through the screens power supply. But since I attached LEDs at the back of my monitor two years ago, I had to take the bottom LEDs down. And that went quite well, I was a bit afraid they wouldn't come off anymore, but the Tesa PowerStrips did well. Attaching the speakers was done in no time and I hooked them up to my server/second workstation, where I hadn't had any sound yet. They sound quite nice for small integrated speakers, even though they cannot compare to a real 5.1 speaker system. And now I attached the LEDs again and everything works great. :)

Mein neues 24" TFT mit Beleuchtung

Ich habe mir im August für mein neues TFT, mit dem ich BTW sehr zufrieden bin, von Ikea DIODER gekauft, um damit einen statischen Ambilight-Selbstbau zu machen. Ich hab die LED-Leisten hinter mein TFT geklebt und kann nun je nach Laune und Beleuchtung eine andere Farbe einstellen. Es ist kein Ersatz für das Deckenlicht, aber macht es für meine Augen Abends viel angenehmer. Die LEDs erzeugen keine Wärme und kleben deshalb super auf der Rückseite meines TFTs. Und auch wenn ich keinen Wert auf Case-Modding, Unterbodenbeleuchtung oder sonstwas lege, sieht es schon toll aus. :-)
