Stereoton über den Digitalausgang
Soweit ich das verstehe, ist in einer neuen Revision der Nexus-S (DVD-S-Karte) etwas geändert worden, so dass man unter Linux keinen stereo-only Ton über den digitalen Ausgang ausgeben konnte. Das war ziemlich nervig, da ich zusätzlich zu dem Digitalkabel ein analoges zu meinem Verstärker legen müsste und auch dann immer am Verstärker umeschalten müsste, wenn sich der Tonmodus von einem Kanal auf den anderen ändert. Ich habe etwas recherchiert und es gibt eine neue Firmware für die DVB-S-Karte. Und ab da ging es recht einfach: Nach der Anleitung im VDR-Wiki vorgehen und folgende Firmware installieren löste das Problem bei mir ziemlich einfach auf meinem c’t-VDR 5.0 mit dem 2.6.16er Kernel der c’t. Bei Probleme nochmal im VDR-Portal suchen und wenn dann noch nötig nachfragen. Mir hat vorallem der Thread geholfen.
