Gutes Wetter und neue Festplatte
Meine neue USB-Platte mit Tasche und USB-Hub
Karin und ich waren gestern mit dem Fahrrad in der Stadt. Es war super Wetter und wie man gerade sehen kann eine tolle Idee. Heute gießt es nämlich wie aus Eimern. Gutes Timing. Bei dieser Gelegenheit des verkaufsoffenen Sonntags waren wir noch im Saturn und ich habe eine neue externe Festplatte für den VDR gekauft. Der Speicherplatz wurde schon eng und ist jetzt mit 250GB Nachgerüstet. Die Platte passt gut zum Gehäuse, da sie auch in Silber gehalten ist. Außerdem hat sie einen USB-Hub. Das ist besonders praktisch, da die Front-USB-Anschlüsse des VDR-Gehäuses tot sind, weil ich an den internen USB-Anschlüssen das Display angeschlossen habe. Das hätte man wohl auch anders lösen können, aber es ist schon sehr eng in dem Gehäuse und ich wollte nicht noch mehr dran rumspielen. Nur noch einen guten Platz finden, zwei verzeichnisse ummounten und die neue Platte ist betriebsbereit und ich habe wieder Platz.

VDR streams very well with the streamdev-plugin, but only unicast http streams. That is usually no problem, because even 3 streams aren’t nearly too much for a normal 100Mbit home network and I wouldn’t need any more at home.
